Our November started with the ISACS Network attending the National Circus Festival of Ireland 2024.
We were delighted to:
- Bring back to Tralee our SHARE Open Forum, which this year focused on the EDI projects, & our DELVE Programme,
- Meet and support several ISACS members who were performing and delivering workshops as part of the festival programme.
Our journey started on November 1st when ISACS participated in the Future Producers Day in partnership with Promenade, Fidget Feet, Split Second, and NCFI.
We hosted three International guests: Clive Lyttle, Aïna R. Mares, and Xavier Valenti, Programmers from Spain and the UK, invited by ISACS —with support from Culture Ireland—to establish connections with Irish Street Arts, Circus, and Spectacle artists.
On November 2nd, we hosted SHARE, a space for our members to bring their projects, dreams, and challenges to the table and share ideas and solutions with fellow artists and arts professionals, and we were thrilled to hear from:
- Lynn Carroll from Galway Community Circus,
- Chloe Commins,
- Brendan Fahy,
- Ciara O’Mahony from Promenade representing Moss Russell,
- Poppy Emer Greenford
- Aoife Carry and Richard Tierney from St. Patrick Festival.
- Our international guests and programmers: Clive Lyttle, Aïna R. Mares, Xavier Valenti.
Through our DELVE Programme, which aims to support artists to experience and be inspired by art through a range of festivals and programmes throughout Ireland. We brought along Alan Meaney and Em Murphy to go, see, watch, listen, learn, connect with art and art makers, and get inspired.
The Festival programme featured the following ISACS Members:
Parade, Outdoor Samhain Spectacle Show and Fireworks
- Ciara Moloughney, Director and Creative Producer of the outdoor Samhain spectacle, ‘an Cailleach’.
- Dunn Create, lead artist in “Puffins on Parade” a street arts outreach project realised in collaboration with Transition Year students from Mercy Mounthawk Secondary in Tralee.

It was great to provide a space for our members to meet our international guests from festivals and arts organisations all around Europe and beyond and establish meaningful connections.
Here is what our guests said about their experience:
Good range of artists and great to see the skill sessions provided by the festival. This felt like real professional development for people who attend the festival, and a great model to see.
– Clive Lyttle
It’s been a nice experience. It’s always interesting getting in touch with other agents and cultural communities. I loved the Irish way of working for its artists… their humanity behind it.
– Xavier Valenti
