Chloe is going to share RESONANCE, an autobiographical one woman show, which explores the experience of growing up CODA (Child of Deaf Adults).

Told through ISL (Irish Sign Language), physical theatre and aerial hoop. This show explores themes of communication, family and what its like to belong to two cultures, straddling the hearing and Deaf worlds and what that means for CODA’s alike.

She is looking for support and venues to bring this piece of work on tour from May 2025.

Brendan Fahy is the Membership Engagement Officer for ISACS, and is also ‘Juggler Brendan’, a performer and tutor of juggling and circus skills to children and adults all over Ireland. As a freelance tutor of juggling and circus skills, he has worked with a broad range of students across various contexts. He is going to share his experience in community outreach with Creative Places Enniscorthy, and his hopes to start a community circus programme there.

Poppy Emer Greenford is working on Juggling at the Edge of the World, a new solo show, and she is looking for presentation partners for a project award application in 2025.

The storytelling in the show expresses themes of equality through feminism and eco-feminism, particularly the idea of re-shaping what is societally considered as a typical ‘hero’. It allows audiences to reflect on their own ideas about successs and failure and what really matters in life. It discusses diversity in relation to gender roles as well as what we ‘should’ or ‘shouldn’t’ have achieved by a certain age. Something that we all experience throughout life, and told through the personal stories of a woman in her early 30’s.

Galway Community Circus provide access to high-quality subsidised circus arts education through their circus school, offering youth and adult programmes and professional training. They also create community programmes in partnership with those who have specific social or developmental needs. They provide artist support, training and mentoring and lead the development of youth circus in Ireland through their academic, national and international partnerships.

Lynn Carroll will share their  EDI and Outreach. She will talk about the Resilience project, their relationship with Extraordinary Bodies, plus plans to work with the Deaf community in 2025.

“Squish Stomp Spin – The Magic of Stim”, originally produced for Sensoria is a new street show by artist Moss Russell that uses hula hoop and clown to destigmatize stimming and promote positive representation for neurodivergent individuals through storytelling.This show allows audiences to observe how Autistic/ADHD people might prefer to be treated and serves to normalise big emotions.
