My name is Chloe Commins, I am a Dublin based aerial performer and instructor who specialises in aerial hoop and fabric. I also dabble in rope, straps and wall running.
I have had the chance to perform and train internationally in Croatia, Costa Rica and with Bliss Circus Goa India. Regionally I have performed at the RDS, Electric Picnic, The Sugar Club, Wild Roots Music Festival Sligo and perform regular nights at The Circus Academy. During the pandemic I had the opportunity to to take part in an online showing of works in progress ‘Buffering.. Inner Monologues in progress’ which showcased artists from 12 countries.
In 2023 I presented RESONANCE. An aerial theatre piece with takes inspiration from my experience growing up CODA (child of Deaf Adult) and includes ISL (Irish sign language) physical theatre and aerial hoop. I have had the opportunity to show this at the Scene & Heard festival Dublin, Festival of Fools Dublin with plans to develop and show again later on in the year.
I am available for bookings and private lessons in hoop and fabric.
