Meet the delve Members at National Circus Festival of Ireland

Alan is an award-winning independent radio and podcast producer and media trainer. He has over twelve years of experience in making radio, podcasts, sound design, and as a media trainer. He is moving into the fields of circus, street arts and spectacle as a producer and finds it exciting. He prides myself on his organisational and communication skills. His work demands creative decision-making, vigorous research and strong communication. It involves conveying the vision of the project and ensuring alignment among all parties involved. He is open to engaging with new disciplines, new people and new ideas.

Em Murphy is a multidisciplinary movement artist working with aerial dance, sound and visual art to create richly atmospheric multi-sensorial experiences. Their work tends towards the dark side of the human experience, exploring themes surrounding grief, death, isolation and heritage, and draws heavily on Irish folklore and the landscape. Their primary aerial disciplines are rope, cocoon and harness, though their aerial practice centres movement and expression regardless of apparatus. Their movement practice focuses primarily on improvised and somatic process work, which they integrate into both their floor-based and aerial dance practice. Their practice combines contemporary floorwork and aerial dance, to weave together movement at the intersection of floor and air.
