At ISACS, we value nurturing relationships, supporting our membership across a range of issues and take pride in creating an inclusive community which connects and cares for each other and the development of the art forms.
In recent years, through Culture Ireland’s See Here Programme, we have worked to foster professional relationships between our members and international festivals.
In 2023, we brought 12 programmers to Waterford Spraoi, and 5 to the National Circus Festival of Ireland. This resulted in 8 Irish showcases being hosted in 2024 in the following festivals:
- Irish Focus at Tête-À-Tête Festival – organised by Kathrin Bahr in Germany as part of Zeitgeist Irland 2024, featuring —Fanzini Productions, Bill and Fred Productions, and Snatch Circus
- Hat fair Winchester – organised by Andrew Loretto in UK, featuring Fidget Feet Dance Theatre
- Hop Fest – organised by Angelika Meusel in Finland featuring Jazz Ville Productions & Hands Down Circus
- Tallinn Fringe Festival – organised by Dan Le Man in Estonia, featuring Bill and Fred Productions, Tumble Circus, and Shiva Grings
- Lonato in Festival and Opera Festival – organised by Aurelio Rota in Italy, featuring Síolta Circus.
- Irish focus at Ciclop Festival – organised by Ciclop Festival in Mallorca featuring Maleta, Squarehead Productions, Grainne O’Carroll, Síolta Circus, Cikada Circus
- South American tour organised by David Berga, featuring Hands Down Circus,Laura Murphy, Gracie Marshall and Rogu in Colombia.
- Winter Droving Festival – organised by Eden Arts in UK featuring Megan Maher, Fanzini Productions, Symmetry Circus, Grant Goldie and Logy Logan.
