Claudette is a tribute to old age. A tribute to wrinkles filled with wisdom and experience, a tribute to a whole generation of grannies who, after giving everything for others, find themselves alone.

Puppets play between reality and fiction. They allow us another form of communication; they are intermediaries between humans. They can break the rules. Circus is also a transgressor, it attempts to disobey the laws of gravity. Both circus and puppets have the power to make the impossible possible.

“Puppetry is juggling, Juggling is puppetry”.

In the year 2222 a small eccentric tribe of noisy, beings are on the hunt for food and shelter and a bit of craic! (fun!). As they roam the desolate landscape they create chaos as they go with jaw dropping acrobatics and bags of absurdity.

Prepare to laugh out loud as they set up camp and make themselves at home. An uplifting whirlwind of a dystopian future, this is an explosive acrobatic show for all ages.

Stickman is a meta narrative which explores the concepts of meaning and agency.

A performance which features: a man, a stick and a television. The man balances the stick on various, and sometimes awkward, parts of his body, thereby setting himself and the stick in motion. If the man has an agenda, he keeps it to himself. The stick gets moved around and balanced by the man and seems to not have much to say on the matter. The television lurks in the background and throughout the performance comments and puts titles on whatever the the man and stick are doing, thus dictating what the audience sees. The audience sit on their seats and try to keep up with the ever changing rules of play.

It’s a Real Coincidence, co-devised and directed by Gráinne O’Carroll and Sophie Kasser, is a performance combining physical theatre, dance, sound and lighting about a statue of a woman coming alive, breaking loose and dancing within the elasticity of her imagination.

The power of creativity doesn’t guarantee security nor happiness but the bridle and saddle have been cast aside, a step, hop ́n a gallop into the mysterious dark she goes!

Set to an immersive musical score originally composed by Oriol Luna and Ian Nyquist, a sensitive light-work developed with Odhran Duignan, and a multipurpose prop designed by O ́Carroll and constructed by Kim Van Den Belt of 4.F. Studio: This is a collaboratively built performance retelling the tale of a female body in art: From object to artist it crafts the story of life itself– from conception to death and back to conception again and celebrates the nuances and gestures of being human we pick up along the way.

Cikada is an intimate show that displays hand to hand partner acrobatics with two performers. The show uses Acrobatic-Theatre to display a mix between habits of humans and insects, highlighting the connectedness between humans and the rest of the natural world. Described as ‘hilarious and heartwarming’, the performers put a smile on faces and leaves audiences captivated.

Led by The Barceló Brothers, a group that combines Mallorcan and Irish artists, this cabaret offers a taste of different disciplines of the circus world and a cautionary tale for artistic collaboration between the local scene and that of our country.
