Together with Spraoi, last week we had the pleasure of hosting PITCH, a mentoring programme supported by Culture Ireland, created to help develop artists skills in delivering professional pitches about their work to programmers, presenters and stakeholders.
Our three PITCH artists Claire Sheehan, Jessica Doolin and Caoimhe Dunn did an amazing job delivering their creative ideas to a host of Festival Programmers, Bookers, Collaborators and peers.
We want to extend a massive thank you to the three artists; Claire, Jessica and Caoimhe, as well as Ciaran Walsh from Culture Ireland, and to everyone in the Spraoi team for finding a way through this difficult time to create, sustain and continue to encourage artists and art form development.
Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement, for believing in our projects and visions and for sharing the wonder of Spraoi with us. And of course for all the mentorship and valuable advice in learning how to pitch.
Claire Sheehan
Thank you so much for all your mentoring and encouragement. Really enjoyed the weekend, it was a great experience and a massive challenge but yes we all did it!
Jessica Doolin
Thanks to you all for the opportunity – It’s been an idea in my mind for so long, great to get the push to really think and plan developing it!
