The ISACS Network is delighted to present ISACS member Finn Jesch as the selected Bursary recipient for a 5-day Masterclass with Stefan Sing, hosted by In your Space Circus in Derry (NI).

About the Masterclass

Stefan Sing’s juggling workshops are known worldwide. As one of the pioneers in vitalising the art of juggling, and with over 25 years of experience in teaching, from beginners to professionals, everybody can take massive inspiration and technical progress from this class. Besides the technical work to connect our bodies with the objects on the outside (organic juggling), the focus will be exploring a metaphorical way of juggling. Juggling is communication, juggling is a language, and juggling is readable – juggling is more than juggling.

About our artist

Finn Jesch

Finn has supported many international social projects and holds an honours degree in Social Care.

Together with his partner Beanie, Finn set up the circus company Little Top Stars which brings performance and workshops to festivals and schools around Ireland.

With the wish of bringing art to people who experience/face trauma, Finn worked in refugee camps in Greece helping children to discover and recover their talents and hope.

What does Finn expect from the masterclass?

As an emerging company, I believe that it’s important to choose a clear direction so that specific knowledge can be learned. The masterclass can help me to develop my limited juggling skills and allow me to move more freely. As I’m from the rural west, it is especially important for me to meet inspirational people through networking.
