The ISACS Network is delighted to bring back Circus Explored, supported by the Creative Ireland Programme in the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht Sport and Media as well as under the government’s Shared Island Initiative in the Department of the Taoiseach.

Circus Explored aims to connect young circus enthusiasts and forge links between youth circus organisations from all corners of the island as part of the Shared Island Initiative.

The initiative is presented in association with Creative Ireland and in partnership with Circus Factory CorkCloughjordan Circus ClubDublin Circus Project, Galway Community Circus, Circusful in Belfast, and In Your Space in Derry.

Youth Circus Exchange

Circus Explored is bringing young people from youth circus organisations on both sides of the border together at key events in the youth circus calendar in Belfast and Galway through the Shared Island Initiative.

The activities will kick off on April 29 with the first Youth Circus Exchange, when young circus delegates from Galway Community Circus, Cloughjordan Circus Club, Circus Factory Cork and Dublin Circus Project will travel to Belfast to attend Festival of Fools and meet their peers from Circusful and In Your Space.

The second Youth Circus Exchange will take place on May 27, when  young circus delegates from In Your Space and Circusful will travel to Galway to attend Mayhem Youth Circus Festival and meet their peers from Galway Community Circus, Cloughjordan Circus Club, Circus Factory Cork and Dublin Circus Project.
