Creative Lives is gathering evidence about the issues facing creative groups and venues in Ireland and the UK as in-person creative activity starts to resume after the pandemic restrictions. In order to practice their creativity together, people need affordable places to meet, to rehearse, to practice and to perform.
This short (10 minute) survey aims to build a picture of the pre-pandemic and current needs and concerns for creative groups and the spaces they occupy. They also want to hear about exciting and innovative uses of different spaces for creative cultural activity.
So far, there have been a large number of responses already from both creative groups and venues but more input would be welcomed ahead of the closing date this Friday 17 December.
Following on from this survey, Creative Lives will be sharing the findings at a free online discussion on Thursday 27 January 2022, from 9:30–11am.
In this event, they will:
- Share the findings from our survey.
- Explore the current issues and potential solutions.
- Showcase interesting and inspiring examples of different uses of public spaces for creativity.
