Tessellations | Silks Sequencing Workshop

Circus Factory Cork is so excited to host Lisa Carley and Julie O’Connell Kent for an aerial silks/fabric workshop on repeating, geometric motifs and interesting transitions.

Workshop Details

Tessellations is a silks/fabric sequencing workshop hosted by Lisa Carley and Julie O’Connell Kent.

Sunday 20th September from 13.30-16.30

In this workshop, Lisa and Julie share sequences on the silks that they have developed together. The focus is on repeating, geometric motifs and interesting transitions. Come along to feel challenged and supported in your aerial silks practice, and discover new ways of moving through the fabric.

Lisa and Julie first took their workshop to Taking Flight studios in Dublin 7. The development of our material is unfunded.

Tessellation: “A tessellation is a repeating pattern made up of one or more shapes”

Who is this workshop for?

Regular aerial silks students, improver level upwards.

Are there any prerequisites to attend?

A positive, enthusiastic attitude and excitement to learn is an absolute requirement.

Students will benefit if they can invert in the air, but this is not a prerequisite.
