Hoopixie (Bróna) is an emerging artist specialising in hula hoop choreography and fire performance.
She has been performing in circus and fire spectacles since late 2018 and has had the privilege of practicing her work across the globe with amazing organisations such as VolkiDána, Fire & Circus Performers, Broken Theatre, Pyro Collective, Burning Circus, The Renegade Rascals, Medicine Circus(Thailand), Paradise Circus (Thailand) and Erebidae Circus. She performed her first gala act in 2022 at Dublin Circus Festival with a multi-hoop routine, followed by a dance hoop act in DKIT Convention 2024.
In 2020 she began teaching workshops online for hula hoop which kick started her into being well known in Ireland for both beginner workshops and more advanced one on one hula hoop workshops for more advanced hoopers.
In 2020 she also became sponsored by fire gear manufacturer Juggling Calling.
She added duo aerial hoop performances to her calibre in 2021 performing in Duo’s such as “Spin Twins” (with Elinor Sherwood) and “Vixens Nouveau”(with Polina Shapkina), as well as providing duo fire, led, and cabaret performances under the same names. She has since progressed into solo aerial hoop and moon performances for events.
