What was FRESH STREET#3?
Fresh Street took place from 22nd – 24th May 2019, in Galway City and Inis Oírr, in association with the Áras Éanna Arts Centre and the National University of Ireland, Galway. Fáilte Ireland’s CARA Award 2023
On November 22nd, 2023, Fáilte Ireland celebrated the outstanding contributions of 104 conference ambassadors, including renowned academics and industry leaders, at an award ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin.
“ISACS are beyond thrilled to receive this award out of the blue for the wonderful FRESH Street event, which we held in partnership with Circostrada and Galway 2020 back in May 2019,” said Lucy Medlycott.
“It feels particularly special to get this kind of recognition for an event whose significance was slightly eclipsed by the ensuing pandemic.”
Brian Rafferty, member of the ISACS Board of Directors, accompanied Lucy on the event night.
