The ISACS Network were delighted to rollout a project analysing and mapping ways to develop Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in the Circus, Street Arts and Spectacle sector. Supported through the Arts Council of Ireland’s Capacity Building Support Scheme we partnered with lead strategically funded organisations for these artforms – Waterford Spraoi, Macnas, Galway Community Circus and the Irish Aerial Creation Centre.
Led and facilitated by Noeleen Hartigan, the project aimed to look at the reach and diversity of these collective artforms and to tell a social story, while at the same time identifying ways and means for development creating an opportunity to learn and improve.
