I am an upcoming producer currently undertaking a training and mentorship programme through Fidget Feet called ‘Future Producers’. I have a Masters in Community Development and 25 years experience in project management. During this time I have acted as Coordinator of a cross-border arts project and as Creative Associate/Public Engagement Officer with the Earagail Arts Festival. I have been hosting a monthly arts and culture night for many years in Donegal and incorporated an element of community arts into most of my professional roles.

In 2006 I established my own consultancy offering a professional research, evaluation and facilitation service. Most recently this had resulted in the establishment of ‘Creating Resilience’ – an arts programne delivered with a mindfulness-based approach to address the impact of covid and life worries on children and young people. This has created employment for artists across different mediums including circus and physical theatre.

As a writer, spoken word artist and actor, I have an indepth knowledge of the needs of artists and the importance of community in developing and sustaining arts practice. I’m a founding members of the Artists Support Network (Donegal). Most recently I have begun producing the circus show ‘The Exotic Adventures of Dr.Proctor’. I’m very much looking forward to developing my production skills through Future Producers.
