We are a family run organisation with a legacy of over 170 years. Founded in the 1800’s by Patrick James Duffy, the Duffy family have been entertaining the Irish public ever since. Each year we create & tour a new show of inspiring, high quality work to a growing diverse, rural & urban audience throughout the Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland whist encouraging artist development & creativity through mentoring, training, exposure to & collaboration with a diverse group of creatives drawn from a global pool of professionals.
In 2018, our 6th generation family members, Tom and Jamie Duffy, were presented with the Silver Clown Award, for their ‘Wheel of Death’ act, in the Monte-Carlo New Generation Circus Festival by H.S.H Princess Stephanie of Monaco, President of the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo. Acts are selected from across the world by a panel of experts and this was the first time in the history of the New Generation Festival that Irish performers had been chosen to perform.
They have also performed at The China International Circus Festival in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China, once again being the first Irish artists ever to be invited as well as winning the prestigious Gold Award in the Grand Prix of the Artistes at the International Circus Festival in the Weihnachtscircus Hannover, Germany, competing against some of the finest award-winning circus acts in the world.
