Órlaith is an emerging aerial artist, working with fast spinning, solid aerial hoop as her storytelling medium.
She began her training as a hobbyist, and recently left the hospitality industry to pursue art and aerial full time. Órlaith now trains and teaches at Taking Flight: Aerial Education & Performance, working with children and adults in various facets of social circus.
In addition to her specialised apparatus of hoop, Órlaith also works with a weird, non-traditional spinning apparatus that no-one has ever heard of and ties herself into knots on rope (rarely intentional).
Órlaith lives in Wicklow (not Dublin, thanks very much!) with her long-term partner Steve and Bláithín, who is the reason Órlaith will probably never want a contract overseas.
