Promenade provides artist and producer supports for the world of circus, multi-disciplinary arts, participatory arts, public art, spectacle and street arts. Promenade is currently funded under the Arts Council’s Creative Production Support Scheme 2024 & 2025. For more details see Promenade’s website here.
Other projects include: POP, Planning for Outdoor Arts Performance partnership initiative and events series with 5 Local Authority Arts Offices (including Roscommon – lead partner, Cork City, Kerry, Laois and Tipperary) with National Resource Organisations Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network (ISACS), Poetry Ireland, Music Network and Performing Arts Forum; Arts Council commissioned research study regarding circus building based infrastructure in Ireland, and a local authority commissioned light festival feasibility study.
Core team members are Founder/Creative Director Kath Gorman, Producers Ciara O’Mahony and Alex Maronna along with Ayşegül Yüzel, Project Manager for Promenade’s Producer Network activities.
