On Sunday 2nd August, hundreds of costumed performers, dramatic floats, light, fire, and music will combine to create the annual Spraoi Festival Parade. This spectacular performance will weave through Waterford’s medieval streets at night.

Over twenty-five thousand spectators will line the route as the parade progresses to the city’s historic quays where a huge fireworks display will be launched from the river Suir. This event has been presented since 1993 and it represents contemporary Waterford creativity in Ireland’s oldest city.

More information will be posted on https://spraoi.com/ in the months ahead and if you see one summer event in Ireland this year, the Spraoi Parade must be top of your list!
