We are delighted to announce that the Irish Youth Circus Gathering is back this year with a fun packed programme including workshops of circus skills, games, challenges, social events and performances. #IYCG2023 will take place from 10th-12th November and will be our 6th gathering event.
We will be welcoming 50 young participants and 20 youth circus facilitators and guest performers to Cloughjordan from Circusful (Belfast), In Your Space Circus (Derry), Galway Community Circus, Cork Circus Factory and Dublin Circus Project. They will be joined by members of our own Cloughjordan Circus Club.
We’ll have workshops for schools during the week and a packed programme of workshops for participants in all 4 local halls over the weekend as well as wire walking on the green.
As part of the event all of our youth circus participants and families are invited to a performance of ‘That Man’ on Saturday, 11th November at 5:30 PM in St. Kieran’s Hall featuring our guest artist, the one and only Grant Goldie! Everyone is very welcome to see fantastic, professional circus performances and the creation of the legendary ALL IRELAND HUMAN PYRAMID!
