)4343 is made up of 4th and 3rd year Carlow IT art students from 2020 and 2021. The bracket signifies the closure of our studentship, and refers to the group operating as graduates. Following on from their first showcase Fate and Impact in Wexford Arts Centre and The Creative Hub, the group decided to continue on as a collective.
Unable to refrain from a playful exchange on words, Seconds is their second exhibition. Together via sculpture, paint, video and photography, they present their individual responses to the phenomenon of time – a concept open to a wide range of discourse prompted by history, lived experience, entropy, the stream of conscious thought and the arrow of time itself.
The exhibition runs from Thursday 29 September until Monday 31 October in the Irish Management Institute, Sandyford Dublin.
