Miss Mary

Miss Mary is an Irish tradition which no longer exists. An outdoor solo dance, created and performed by Kristyn Fontanella, Miss Mary traces the footsteps of migrating Irish dance masters.Traveling through parks and fields, embodying the land and its stories, she arrives at a gathering of people, she invites them to exchange and listen. She asks them:Where did you come from? How do you move? Will you dance with me?

Miss Mary gathers ancestors, nostalgia and community, sharing the stories that live within us all.

Claudette

Maleta Company & Cie. Balancetoi

Claudette  is a tribute to old age. A tribute to wrinkles filled with wisdom and experience. A tribute to an entire generation of grandmothers. A show that mixes juggling and puppetry to give voice and visibility to the elderly.

‘Claudette’ tells the story of an old lady revolted by her loneliness as she prepares to celebrate her 90th birthday! It’s the story of a grandchild and a tender and dreamy grandmother, tired of being alone and sitting all day, tired of eating soup day after day, who wants to feel alive again.
