ISACS is delighted to announce Aidan Ring, aka Tornaido, and Esmeraldo Tavares are the two ISACS artists invited to join the ISACS team, to experience the Carlow Arts Festival.
DELVE: Discover, Explore, Learn, Visualise and Engage – aims to support artists to experience and be inspired by art through various festivals and programmes throughout Ireland. We go, we see, we watch, we listen, we learn, we connect with art and art makers, and we get inspired.
Here is what they say about their expectations:
I’d like to take part of this festival because as the founder of Kizomba Dance Academy Ireland, I’m passionate about promoting African dance and culture through creativity, education, and community engagement. Attending the Carlow Arts Festival would be a valuable opportunity to connect with other artists, explore new ideas, and represent Afro-diasporic art forms in a wider cultural context. I’m excited by the festival’s diversity and would love to learn, share, and be inspired while building connections that support future collaborations and cultural inclusion in the Irish arts scene.
I use dance to connect communities and bring culture to public spaces. Through flashmobs, street performances, and inclusive events, I aim to make Afro-diasporic art accessible and engaging for everyone.
