Thank you to everyone who joined us at the SHARE Open Forum and launch of the Arts Council’s new Circus Policy and Implementation Plan during the National Circus Festival of Ireland 2025. The participation and input we received are invaluable in shaping the future direction of ISACS.
At this year’s forum, members contributed ideas and priorities that will inform our Strategic Plan for 2026–2030. These discussions were facilitated by our partners WOVE, who are consolidating the ideas generated as a part of this important first step in the planning process.
What’s next?
Further member consultations will take place in January, giving ISACS members another opportunity to share their ideas.
- 14th January – Member consultation in Dublin
- 15th January – Member consultation in Belfast
Eventbrite registration will open soon.
We were thrilled by the strong level of engagement during the initial stage of our strategic planning process and would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed, with special thanks to:
- DELVE artists: Tara Brandel, Bobbi Byrne, and Rachel Paul of Croí Glán for their creative contributions.
- Our international guests, Dré Demet – MAD Festival, Antwerp (Belgium), Josa Koelbel – Berlin Circus Festival (Germany), and Jodie Adams – Underbelly, Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland)
- WOVE, for facilitating the discussions, and the Arts Council of Ireland for launching the new Circus Policy and Implementation Plan at the event.
Thank you for helping us start this important conversation. Together, we are building a strong and vibrant future for street arts, circus, and spectacle in Ireland.
