The ISACS Network is deeply concerned about the non-delivery of the project, which commenced in 2018, to develop new IT systems for the Arts Council of Ireland.
As a resource organisation working closely with individual artists & organisations, ISACS Board has written to the Arts Council expressing our disappointment. We have received strong reassurance from them that this issue will not affect existing funding commitments. Application opportunities will continue as scheduled, ensuring stability for artists and arts organisations in Ireland.
We strongly urged our members to join us for the National Campaign for the Arts online meeting on Thursday, February 20th, at 1 PM. Given the evolving situation with the Arts Council of Ireland, this is a crucial moment for collective discussion and advocacy.
At ISACS, our priority—aligned with the NCFA—is to advocate for artists, arts funding, and the broader arts ecosystem. The meeting provided an opportunity to share updates, voice concerns, and ensure the arts community remains a central focus for the Government, the Arts Council, and other key stakeholders.
