At ISACS, we are a leading example of an artist-first members network that supports and grows the street, circus, and spectacle art forms of Ireland.

To allow our art forms to flourish and empower our community, we run a variety of professional development and mentorship initiatives for our members every year.

Below is the calendar of the ISACS Artistic & Professional Development Programmes call-outs for Spring 2024. From the publication date, ISACS members will have three weeks to apply.

  • ISACS & Áras Éanna Ionad Ealaíne Residency –  which offers artists the opportunity to live and create for one month on the Island of Inis Oírr, Co. Galway from October 2nd to October 30th – will be launched on March 1st.
  • Where Dance meets Circus Bursaries – to explore collaborative practice and presentation between the art forms of Circus and Dance on May 11th and 12th – will open on April 2nd.
  • LIFT Residency with Wexford Arts Centre – which offers mentoring and creation space for solo/duo ground-based circus artists from November 11th to 15th – will open April 8th.
  • ISACS & Culture Ireland PITCH at Spraoi –  our mentorship programme developed in partnership with Culture Ireland to allow emerging ISACS artists to present their ready-to-tour show in a professional environment on August 3rd – will launch on April 15th.
  • DELVE at Spraoi – our Discover, Explore, Learn, Visualise and Engage programme that aims to support artists to experience and be inspired by the Spraoi Festival from August 1st to 5th – will open on May 6th.

Other 2024 ISACS Key dates

  • ISACS  Online Annual General Meeting  is on April 23rd
  • Registrations to attend DIVE#3 – the immersive event presented in partnership with Circostrada Network and Waterford Spraoi from August 1st to August 5th – will open in April.
  • Throughout the year until September, ISACS Members can use our HQ hot desk programme to research, write their proposals & funding applications, and receive our support.
  • The ISACS Training Calendar will commence on October 1st.
