This online workshop will focus on the Board’s responsibility to set and monitor the culture of organisations in the arts and creative sectors.

Please note: This course is intended for those who have previously completed some basic governance training or have experience with governance structures, and ideally have board experience. An understanding of the fundamentals of governance is necessary in order to fully implement board culture learnings.

The course will cover:

  • the fundamentals of organisational culture and its relation to the Governance Code
  • codes of conduct
  • an organisation’s purpose
  • and policies and practices the Board should be considering.

TRAINER: Gráinne Madden 

Gráinne is an expert in corporate responsibility and business ethics and an experienced trainer and facilitator. She runs a specialist consultancy helping businesses avoid problems, enhance reputation and harness their power to improve society. She is also an experienced Trustee, Chair and Company Secretary.
