Pitch’d Festival is delighted to present this opening show by Compagnie Circographie, a juggling and dance company from Lille, formed in 2019 by choreographer Asaf Mor. The company’s formation was inspired when Asaf led a masterclass at Pitch’d 2018, where he and the participants created an ensemble juggling act for the gala show.
Entre Noeuds is a choreographic creation, a meeting point between three jugglers, their unique personalities and artistic approach. Where the body and objects mutually influence each other, where juggling is an instigator for movement, and the body’s movement resonates through the objects, creating a dance where contact and interaction are perpetual and cooperation is essential.
Each artist’s personality, juggling, and movement is amplified and enhanced by the group, so that what is impossible alone becomes possible by sharing, supporting and helping each other.
