Circus Science by the Sea is Europe’s first circus science festival held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November as part of Science Week 2022.

This is a festival for everyone. Whether you’re a fun-seeking family, environmentalist, artiste or physicist, the weekend is packed full of free performances, discussions and workshops for you. From late night Circus Science Cabaret to family-friendly clown shows, lively discussions and outdoor circus workshops, Circus by the Sea aims to stimulate ideas and collaboration around how circus and science can best work together for the common good.

Held in the historic town of Westport and on Achill Island, County Mayo, Ireland, the entire weekend is free to attend.

Circus Science by the Sea is produced by Circus250 with support from Science Foundation Ireland. Because we believe when science meets circus, anything’s possible.
