Circus Factory Cork is delighted to host Gianluca Gerlando Gentiluomo for a two-day aerial intensive featuring aerial straps on the second day!
Day 2 / March 29th
Gianluca’s straps workshop is back! (He last did it 2 years ago in CF). Taking place on day two of the aerial intensive, the aerial straps workshop is open to those with at least an intermediate level in aerial acrobatics, as well as those who already practise this discipline. Straps are an excellent tool for physical preparation for all aerial disciplines, but they also offer a wide range of tricks and sequences that can be supplemented by further personal research.
In particular, the work will focus on:
- Starting with basic static positions: Pike, nutcracker, straddle, meat hook, scorpion/back flag and their preparations and possible variations, links and sequences;
- Study of the “grip around the arms” for push work, back balance, roll up, etc.
- Spin work and study of flair
