A Mother’s Voice is a multidisciplinary work dedicated to and inspired by the women affected by the mother-and-baby homes scandal.

Devised by Beth McNinch, artistic director of Musici Ireland, A Mother’s Voice is a unique collaboration that gives voice to the women whose voices have for so long gone unheard. Entering the performance space via an immersive art installation by Bridget Ní Dhuinn, audiences encounter a live concert in which musicians from Musici Ireland perform a piece composed by Irene and Linda Buckley, accompanied by animation from Éabha Bortolozzo and Jack Kirwan. Featuring the voices of survivors, A Mother’s Voice is a profoundly moving work that pays tribute to the women’s resilience and strength.Original Concept/Creative Director Beth McNinchAssistant Creative Director Jane HackettMothers Voices ‘Cait’ Deirdre Wadding and Sheila O’ByrneOriginal score and Soundscape Irene and Linda BuckleyAnimation Eabha Bortollozo and Jack KirwanInstallation Bridget Ní DhuinnLighting Design Eoin McNinchMusicians Musici Ireland
