The ISACS Network would like to welcome our first L.E.A.P. trainee of 2019, Sara Galletti, and would like to take this opportunity to introduce Sara to you all.
Hello, I am Sara, from Italy and I have been living in Ireland for many years now. Besides my career in the International Education Project Management, Language Teaching and Researching in Social Inclusion, in the last few years I approached circus arts and discovered their positive social impact towards integration and inclusion across various contexts. I started training in Youth Circus and Social Circus Teaching in Italy with AltroCirco focusing my Research in the use of circus arts as a tool to enhance social inclusion, mainly in multicultural and linguistically diverse contexts. I am now training in various social and youth circus projects in Ireland and I decided to join ISACS to gain expertise in Street and Circus Arts Project Management and Research and learn how to apply it at a national and international level.
I will be doing this through a unique opportunity, the Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs Programme: “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Participating Countries. The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new market”1.
