Elysia graduated from Fontys Dance Academy in 2016, in Tilburg The Netherlands. She is now working as a performer and choreographer. Over the past two years she has become deeply involved within the Circus scene. She has helped curate a Circus and music festival in Chassey, France and has taken part in many other Circus/Dance/Street festivals around Europe including Brocante Italy, Chalon dans la Rue France, Passage Festival Denmark, Detmold festival Germany. Her knowledge and connections throughout mainland Europe within the Circus World is well established. Lately Elysia has been drawn back to Ireland, her goal being to become more connected as to what is happening back home, as a lot has changed over the past 7 years since she left.

Elysia hopes that DELVE will introduce her to some new people connected to the Circus world and festivals around Ireland, to mingle with fellow artists, have the chats and the craic!

And of course Elysia is ready to walk through any doors that ISACS and she may open while DELVEing!

‘I have never been able to attend the Circus festival until this year and I believe it will be hugely beneficial to my
physical practice aswell as my artistic development in my own work, connecting  dance and circus through physical theatre.

DELVE will be an opportunity to see a programme of Irish and international work, participate in the physical workshops and network with the other artists and participants.
As an emerging art maker and performer in the circus and dance fields, it is my responsibility and wish to continue training and developing to be the very best I can be in my personal approach to creating great theatre works and help raise the platform of Irish Circus art.’
