Delve18: application open for National Circus Festival of Ireland

ISACS Network is delighted to announce that our last DELVE programme of the year will run in partnership with the National Circus Festival Ireland, Tralee Co Kerry. The National Circus Festival Ireland is Ireland's first dedicated circus festival and attracts circus enthusiasts and artists from all over the country. This years' four-day programme will feature a wide range of national and international acts, emerging works, workshops, training, seminars, networking and family-focused events. We are thrilled to offer the opportunity to attend the festival to two of our members.

Participants will Discover, Explore, Learn Visualise and Engage with the artists and their fellow ISACS member by attending the events free of charge and will be encouraged to share their experiences and learning’s submitting their feedback on the DELVE page of our website, sharing it on social media and any relevant online platforms using the hashtag #delve18.

The DELVE programme is worth over €400.00 and highlights include:
  • Weekend Ticket to the National Circus Festival Ireland. Includes access to all shows, seminars and training programmes
  • 2 nights accommodation Friday 11th, Saturday 12th November.
  • Subsidised Travel  - up to €50.00
  • Invitation to a 'networking dinner'.

This free ISACS training programme is a programme in partnership with National Circus Festival of Ireland and supported by Arts Council Ireland.

We will be retweeting and reposting what’s happening live at the events and the festival on: 

- Facebook (Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network @ISACSNetwork), 
- Twitter (@ISACSIreland), 
- Instagram (@ISACSIreland).

What do I have to do to be part of the Delve?

Suitable DELVE Applicants will be:

  • ISACS Members
  • Have never attended the National Circus Festival Before - First Timers!
  • Must be available from Friday 9th November afternoon through to Sunday 11th November late afternoon.
  • Have an interest in writing, blogging and critical discourse around Circus, Street Arts and Spectacle

In addition to being part of the full experience of the National Circus Festival we ask that the successful participants will agree to attend and participate in the following events as part of the DELVE programme:

Friday 9th, from 5:30pm - 10:30pm onwards

  • Meeting & greeting with ISACS Network team
  • 5×5 SHOWS at FESTIVAL CLUB: CIRCUS SIDESHOW (from 10:30pm)
Saturday 10th, from 10am-2pm | 5:30pm - 7pm
Sunday 11th, at 3pm

Finally, a key part of being a DELVE participant is to provide post-event feedback
 in the form of a written piece that details your experience of the event.
