Culture is Catching! Ireland's 13th Culture Night is less than a day away and the ever-growing list of events makes it difficult to choose what you to do and see on Friday! You could browse through the Culture Night website or you could listen to our advice! The ISACS' (Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network) team is pleased to present their selection of the best of street arts and circus events happening on Friday the 21st of September and beyond!

Theatre, vertical dance, clowns, circus, workshops, family-friendly events, exhibitions, festival kick off we have it all cover with ISACS members' events in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Cavan, Athy Kildare, Waterford, Wicklow, Wexford and Belfast.

8.30pm / 9pm / 10.15pm Aerial Cirque Live

In a world where the border between real and virtual is blurred, Aerial Cirque presents LIVE, Ria Murphy’s latest interactive aerial dance-visual art spectacle. Art, science, and tech synchronise daringly up on a vertical architectural stage. Performers dance, run and flip suspended on the building, while their biometric data and movements influence the projection mapping enveloping them. In collaboration with renowned visual artist Petko Tanchev, the visual landscape of the piece is endlessly responsive,  conforming  &  deforming, responding in real time to the vitals of the performers. Their real bodies feeding their responsive virtual partner, making no two performances the same.

Find your Balance with Wires Crossed! As one of the nine anchor projects of Galway 2020, GCC is training up to 400 participants in the art of wire walking (funambulism) with the aim to cross the Claddagh Basin and River Corrib on tight-wire. Right now they are in the process of their level II summer/autumn training stages, therefore this is a fantastic opportunity for people to come to see what this project is all about and try out the art of funambulism. Proper clothing and footwear is a necessity - it is best to be prepared for any kind of weather on the day.
These workshops are for complete beginners from the ages of 10 years upwards.
