Meet the candidates | ISACS Board election 2017 (Members only)

Meet the candidates | ISACS Board election 2017 (Members only)

We are delighted to say that it's time for you to contribute to ISACS future by voting in the Board elections
We have an excellent field of candidates for you to choose from and you can read all their biogs below.

Voting will take place at our AGM on Thursday April 6th at the Ark, Temple Bar, Dublin, after our annual public seminar Explore 2017

Each member or member organisation may fill out a single voting form. We are asking for two of our members to be the tellers, your vote will not be revealed. If you cannot attend on the 6th, you may also send a proxy in your stead, the receipt for proxy applications is Wednesday 29th March. You must be a fully paid-up member to vote.

There are two seats available for this election, which leaves two places open to co-opt members selected by the Board to fill in any skill gaps and address Board diversity, the Board will then number ten.

A few thoughts...

  • Diversity: any Board functions best if it is a broad and diverse group, representing the many different facets of the ISACS membership and the many different occupations within the sector.

  • Experience: We are passionate about bringing new voices onto the Board and encourage members with no previous experience of governance to stand alongside those who have served on boards for several years previously;  we have observed this as a very healthy way to operate and it means that ISACS can play a part in changing and diversifying the face of cultural leadership for our sector.

  • Regionality: ISACS is a national organisation and our candidates cover many areas across Ireland; we're looking for national representation.

I ask you to consider these matters when you are making your selection and help us gather as wide, lively and reflective a team as possible.

So, here is our very fine list of candidates:
