Drawing on the experience of our expert panel of speakers, we will hear examples from both sectors of cross art form experience, of art form development and of the different paths that have been taken by Dance and Circus, and how these routes impact the work, the artist and the outcomes.

NCFI present Kamchatka workshops; Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, November 2016

NCFI present Kamchatka workshops; Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, November 2016
Catalan-based and internationally renowned street theatre company Kamchatka bring their workshop Migrar to Ireland in association with the National Circus Festival of Ireland. Described as “a wake up call’ for conscience by swipes of fine humour, as storytellers without words, without adornment, as subtle, profound and lasting happiness donors.”Migrar is more than a workshop, it is a journey. It is a collective experience where theatre is conceived as a societal ritual meant for discovering and reinventing oneself, of re-encountering ones own story, similar to the dynamics in our ever changing society. The workshop offers an opportunity of working with a collective, sharing living experiences and feeling as an immigrant through games.
