Balancing Your Books – A review of the day including an ISACS members offer with JPAS Ltd.
ISACS were delighted to present the practical training programme 'Balancing your Books' A One Day Guide to Tax and Self-Employment with Dean Haughey of JPAS Ltd. Dean is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Manager at JPAS Ltd, a firm specialising in tax and accountancy for the arts and entertainment industries.
Over the day, we looked at all aspects of self-employment and the advantages/challenges of being a Sole Trader/Partnership/Limited Company etc. We studied how to prepare and manage your accounts – income and expenditure, capital expenditure, allowable expenditure, mixed expenses, motor costs and more details about how to prepare and keep your books and records. We discussed revenue requirements and revenue allowances across a range of items and how to prepare your tax return, filing deadlines and more! In short the day was jam packed with information, discussion, questions and conversation and, as it turned out, there was a lot of that to be had and much to be learned and discovered.
ISACS are delighted to announce an exclusive ISACS members only offer for the filing of annual income tax returns in partnership with JPAS Accountants Ltd.
