L.E.A.P.ing into Summer with three new ISACS trainees


The ISACS L.E.A.P. programme began in 2017 and is a part of our professional training programme that provides experience for future arts leaders in research, communications and event coordination. L.E.A.P. stands for Learn, Experience, Achieve, and Prepare and trainees receive real-world experience working in an arts organisation using the learning-by-doing approach. 
This summer, three new L.E.A.P inductees Abbey Sexton, Coline Paques and Jack Beglin have jumped on board and will be assisting the team working on Communications and Research projects, during the busy upcoming festival season!

ISACS to take part in the international street theatre festival Tête-à-tête in Germany!


This week, ISACS CEO Lucy Medlycott will be attending the Tete a Tete Festival, Rastatt, Germany on invitation as an International Mentor for young German artists. The Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) is looking forward to discovering the festival's programme, attending the professional sessions and taking part in the KOPF an KOPF mentoring programme supporting three young German artists Anni KüpperAnne Holdig and Mitja Averhoff. 

Tête-à-tête is the biggest international street theatre festival in Germany. It has a unique atmosphere with a contemporary focus and a cross-genres programme. Every two years, international and professional artists from all over Europe come to Rastatt to transform the baroque city into the home for free contemporary outdoors and street arts, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors with an interdisciplinary mixture of dance, circus arts, theatre and performance.

N.E.S.T. 18: Perform at Spraoi as New Emerging Street Talent 2018!


Spraoi in partnership with the Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) is offering four ground-based performers an opportunity to present ‘works-in-progress’ at Spraoi International Street Arts Festival 2018. 

They will be performing at Spraoi's New Emerging Street Talent Stage this August, after a one-week residency at the festival.

Expect some glamour at Galway Burlesque Festival 2018! 

For the third year in a row, ISACS member Shir Madnessin association with Scarlett Nymph, will bring top performers from across the globe to the Creative Heart of Ireland in a flurry of feathers and fabulousness on the 18-20th of May 2018. The International Galway Burlesque Festival will celebrate the diverse, creative, seductive world of cabaret and burlesque with over twenty acts, workshops and of course a lot of glamour!

The Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) are thrilled to have partnered up with Carlow Arts Festival to offer two ISACS members the opportunity to enjoy its 39th programme from the 6th-10th of June! The festival celebrates its 39th year promoting the growth of visual art, theatre, music, dance, spectacle, multi-disciplinary arts and entertainment.
