DELVE18: Meet the Cork Midsummer Festival DELVErs!

The Irish Street Arts Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) is delighted to have partnered up with Cork Midsummer Festival to offer the opportunity for some of our members to attend a series of events on its 2018 programme. The festival will be storming from the 15 - 24th of June with 56 events and over 140 performances across all art forms over these 10 days! Over the weekend of the 15-17th three ISACS members will be attending a selection of eight events of the festival, network their legs off and sharing their experiences and learning’s with you as part of our #DELVE18 programme at Cork Midsummer Festival.

And the lucky participants are.... drum roll... Kate Finegan, Jude O'Neills and Elisa Gallo Rosso. Congrats!

Roll up for Circus250: Art of the Show at the National Gallery of Ireland!

Circus250 and the Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) are delighted to have worked in association with the National Gallery of Ireland on this exciting exhibition Circus250: Art of the Show from the 9th of June to the 14th of October 2018 in Dublin. This exhibition forms part of the UK and Ireland Circus250 celebrations, which commemorate the 250th anniversary of the first circus, established by Philip Astley in London in 1768. Five years later, Dublin became the first city outside England to which Astley travelled with his circus. The exhibition will show works of art and archive material that focus on the circus and the performing arts. To celebrate Circus250 in style, the National Gallery will also host a programme of exciting events around the Circus.

Picture call out for FRESH STREET#3 main design!


The third edition International Seminar for the development of Street Arts, FRESH STREET#3 is coming to Ireland, in the frame of the European Capital of Culture from 22 – 24th May 2019. The event aims to support and develop the circus and street arts sector across Europe. It will be hosted by the Irish Street Arts Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS), in collaboration with Circostrada Network and Galway 2020 in Galway, European Capital of Culture 2020.
Over three days, individuals and organisations working in the European sector and beyond such as artists, promoters, festivals, academics, students, funders and other policymakers as well as people involved in the use and planning of public space, will gather, network and debate on Irish and European issues.

Delve into Spraoi Festival with the #DELVE18 programme!


The Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) is delighted to have partnered up with Spraoi to offer the opportunity to two of our members to attend all the festival's events this August. They will Discover, Explore, Learn, Visualise over a dozen of national and international street arts' events including the famous Spraoi parade and Engage with the artists and other ISACS members during the three days of the festivalView Spraoi's Street Arts Lineup.
To fully benefit from this Go See programme supported by Arts Council Ireland, the two lucky DELVErs will have their transport and accommodation provided by Spraoi and ISACS.

Congrats to our member Geena O'Keeffe and Enda Moran! They have been selected to take part in our #DELVE18 programme at Carlow Arts Festival this June! Once again, our DELVErs will Discover, Explore, Learn Visualise and Engage with the artists at a selection of events specially selected by our festival partner and share their experiences and learnings with you.
