I am a playwright, poet, performer, and theatre-maker who keeps escaping outside the traditional theatre space. I work outdoors on islands, on the streets, within immersive and performance contexts, and in digital realms. My practice is often focused on the aural, especially binaural sound. I am curious about the ways I can juxtapose and augment everyday reality through audio in its different forms. I also like the other senses excluding visual, the overpowering effect of which I try to challenge every now and then.
I am currently part of FUEL, an artistic development program with Druid Theatre in Galway, where I am writing a play called Sheep! About sheep for theatre spaces – although it can also be performed on a field.
