Édaein Samuels is a multi-discipline practitioner, currently favouring Aerial Hoop. She is ever curious, a skill collector, ready to take ideas for a spin. With a keen interest in clowning she has performed in solo, double and group physical comedy acts. She endeavours to make routines that reflect her playful and mischievous nature and that generally, convey the feelings of wonderment and the joyous freedom of spinning, sliding and moving instinctively through one shape to another. Concepts which inspire her circus and visual art practices are; human fallibility, memory, the body and reflections on everyday life – including appreciation of mundane or overlooked things, places or actions.
