We, Doulab for Circus and Dance, are a duo working in disciplines of circus arts and dance. Together, we focus on combining our different forms to produce new and interesting ways of moving.

We also teach social circus and dance in marginalised communities throughout the West Bank and historic Palestine, and now in Ireland.

Fadi Zmorrod, one half of Doulab, is a highly experienced circus artist and director, with over 15 years’ experience in his field. Following his training in Torino, Italy, at Cirko Vertigo, he toured the world with productions by dance and circus companies such as Les Ballets C de La B, Royal Flemish Theatre, Malmö Stadsteater, Yaa Samar Dance Theatre, Cinque Blu, and Cirkus Cirkõr. He has also created his own award winning work, and toured to festivals like Up Festival, New Circus Weekend Festival, Malmö Festivalen, SESC (Brazil), Festival de Marseille, FiCho (Mexico), and more, winning Jackson Lane and Total Theatre Award for Circus at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He was also the Artistic Director of the Palestinian National Circus Festival, and co-founded the Palestinian Circus School. He is specialised in the Chinese pole, floor acrobatics, and chair balance, and has recently taken a deeper interest in the Cyr wheel. Fadi has taught in numerous capacities in very different locations; at the National Academy of Dance in Rome, in Oslo for the Baltic Circus Network, at Cirko Vertigo in Italy, and in many other dance and circus schools across Palestine and throughout Europe.
