PITCH is a mentorship programme developed in partnership with Culture Ireland to allow emerging ISACS artists to present their ready-to-tour show in a professional environment.

Artists bios

Hannah Scully

Hannah Scully

Hannah is a multi-disciplinary artist, inspired by ambitious collaborations, creating innovative storytelling. She blends her extensive background in ballet, modern jazz and contemporary dance with aerial dance and vertical dance.

Her performance experience includes festivals such as Tipperary Dance platform, Irish Aerial Dance Festival, Electric Picnic, Cork Midsummer, Beyond the Pale, Dublin Fringe Festival with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance and Creative Holywood festival.

Jaimie Carswell

Jaimie Carswell is an actor, physical performer, director, writer, musician and clown. For him, the thread that unites all his work is a spirit of fun, direct audience engagement, creating a shared sense of experience, and joyfully exploring the absurd, the funny, and the gloriously stupid.

Aoife Carry

Aoife is an experienced large scale Circus and Spectacle Director. She has worked Internationally as Artistic Director for companies such as Franco Dragone, MGM and Cirque Du Soleil. Her work has included large scale resident shows, arena touring shows, festival touring and outdoor performances. In these roles she works with large multidisciplinary teams and artists to produce performances that combine artistic and technical excellence.

In 2021 she co-established Twisted Lane Productions, a Spectacle Theatre Company based in Ireland. With Twisted Lane Productions, her focus is to create large scale work that combines theatrical storytelling with the intimacy of immersive theatre.

Kristyn Fontanella

Kristyn Fontanella resides in County Galway where she continues her creative process exploring the two worlds of Traditional and Contemporary. Having toured world-wide with Riverdance, Lord of the Dance & as lead soloist in Gaelforce Dance, her current mission is to show another side of the complex world of Irish Step dancing to future generations.

She has created, directed and produced large ensemble works including a 7-venue national tour of ‘IN LiMBO’ (2020) and an online interactive experience with ‘The Competition’ (2021) supported by multiple Traditional Arts awards through the Irish Arts Council. Her work has shown internationally at DRFI in NYC, Dublin Dance Festival, Marseille New Danse Festival & Tanzmesse Germany.

Lisette Krol

Lisette Krol

Lisette Krol is an international Pole and Aerial artist and athlete, originally from Venezuela who is currently based in Ireland. She is a three-time World Doubles Pole Champion and an Ireland and UK Soloist Champion.

She has also won many international titles. Lisette is not only a champion performer and athlete she is also the founder, owner, and lead instructor at Tribe Fitness Dance Studio in Dublin.She performed in Britain’s Got Talent, the Late Late show and is the winner of Virgin Media TV Show the Big Deal. Lisette is the pole artist and one of the aerialists for Wake “This is Pop Baby”

 

Chloe de Buyl Pisco

Chloé Pisco

Chloé Pisco has been a director, choreographer, performer and educator of dance, circus, aerial acrobatics, immersive and physical theatre hybrids for 23 years.

Her research career began over a decade ago. Her fields of interest include neuroendocrinology, feminism, gender, physics, social sciences, philosophy, and, more recently, marine mammal communication. As an artistic and traditional researcher she is currently conducting the “Oxytocin Projects.” She is also in development for a feature film titled DANCES WITH WHALES wherein science meets art, philosophy meets interspecies communication and cinematic images of nature, never seen before.
