ISACS is delighted to announce Eimear Ní Mhaoldomhnaigh and María Lydia Polotto are the two ISACS artists invited to join the ISACS team, to experience the Festival of Fools in Belfast.
DELVE: Discover, Explore, Learn, Visualise and Engage – aims to support artists to experience and be inspired by art through various festivals and programmes throughout Ireland. We go, we see, we watch, we listen, we learn, we connect with art and art makers, and we get inspired.
Here is what they say about their expectations:
I’m fierce interested in being part of the delve programme, not just as an opportunity to go see some incredible performances but all the other stuff that comes with it. Getting to meet and chat with the performers, the crew, the producers. The folks involved in bringing it all to life, I love to see the process, the behind the scenes, how it came to be not just the finished product. That’s the kind of thing I live for, the in’s and out’s and details of it all. Given my own artistic output and ‘style’ I feel it’s a event that is particularly relevant and would be beneficial to me. One of my other hats is also putting on music, arts and performances events, so any networking is double fold beneficial.
