On Saturday 6th of March, the ISACS Director wrote to An Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, to address concerns and to show our dismay by the level of the Personal Injuries Guidelines adopted by the Judicial Council on the issue of insurance.
ISACS has been lobbying continuously on the cost of insurance for the last seven years, and again today, we are calling on the Government to immediately intervene to do the right thing and bring compensation payments into line with other jurisdictions directly. As it stands, these new guidelines fall far short of what is needed.
