Meet the delve Artists at Spraoi 2026

ISACS is delighted to announce that Safire Hikari and Stevie Wilson have been selected as DELVE artists for the Spraoi International Street Arts Festival 2026.

DELVE (Discover, Explore, Learn, Visualise and Engage) is a professional development initiative designed to support artists in experiencing, exploring and finding inspiration through a range of festivals and artistic programmes across Ireland. Through DELVE, artists are encouraged to immerse themselves in street, circus, spectacle arts, connect with fellow creatives, and gain fresh perspectives that inform and enrich their own artistic practice.

As part of the programme, Safire and Stevie will participate in the ISACS Pro Programme, gaining valuable opportunities to connect with national and international artists, producers and festival programmers. These professional networking and learning experiences are designed to foster collaboration, strengthen industry connections and support artistic development.

Meet the Artists

Safire Hikari

Safire Hikari

Safire is a multidisciplinary artist working across dance, physical theatre and circus. A Traveller now based in Ireland, her work is shaped by experiences of living in diverse communities across Europe. She is passionate about the arts as a tool for connection and community building, and is committed to creating inclusive and accessible artistic experiences.

Recent highlights include her solo work STRAY with Irish Modern Dance Theatre and Cairde Sligo Arts Festival 2026, the development of the vertical dance duet When Lives Touch for Dublin Fringe Festival, and choreography of the site-specific trio An Triúr Deirfiúr. Alongside her performance and creative work, Safire supports youth arts projects across Ireland, including directing dance theatre projects with youth theatres in Kildare and leading a Creative Ireland project in County Clare.

 

Stevie Wilson (1)

Stevie Wilson

Stevie Wicks grew up in the wilds of West Cork and is a bit of a wild one herself! She’s an all-round sparkly spectacle, with immense skill in fire dance and juggling. She was introduced to circus from a young age as her father was a circus artist.

Stevie Wicks has been performing with Fire and Light (LED) for five years, around the world, doing corporate events, festivals and street shows.

She has an array of fire and LED props but has also developed two character walkabout acts. The giant bubble fairy and the lamp-lady.
