The Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) is thrilled to participate in FRESH STREET#5, Circostrada’s flagship international conference in Great Yarmouth – May 28/29/30.
This event brings together key European and global players—artists, programmers, producers, researchers, and policymakers—for three days of thought-provoking discussions and inspiring exchanges on the future of outdoor arts.
Over the past decade, ISACS has played a vital role in positioning Ireland on the European and international stage within the wider outdoor arts sector. This progress has been made possible through our active membership in sister organisations such as Circostrada and Outdoor Arts UK, and through our commitment to delivering public-facing events that explore the art form while connecting with audiences, communities, and professionals alike.
In 2019, ISACS co-hosted FRESH STREET#3, presented in partnership with Circostrada and in collaboration with Galway 2020 – the European Capital of Culture. More recently, in 2024, we hosted DIVE#3 in partnership with Circostrada as part of Waterford Spraoi. This event fostered vibrant conversations among artists, festivals, stakeholders, funders, and policymakers, exploring how outdoor arts shape the Irish sector, our landscape, our communities, and our collective potential for change.
International collaboration is central to ISACS’ activities. Our partnership with Culture Ireland supports promoting Irish Street, Circus and Spectacle artists globally, making our international engagement a key driver of growth and innovation in the sector.
At FRESH STREET#5, ISACS Director Lucy Medlycott will lead and facilitate the Ultra Low Budget Festivals Workshop—a fully interactive session exploring grassroots approaches to festival-making that spark meaningful change. Full FRESH STREET#5 programme here→
