Learn More About Us

The Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network We are a collaborative network of people and organisations interested in the development of the Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle art forms for, with and by Irish artists. We represent over 70 member organisations and individuals across Ireland and beyond. We have a voluntary Board of Directors which are elected by the members in rotation at our Annual General Meeting. We aim to raise the profile, increase recognition and support the development of the sector by:

  • Advocacy and Policy development
  • Training and Professional Support
  • National and International Networking

HIP HOP BATTLE (TOP 8) SUNDAY 21ST MAY

Hip hop Dance Battle Dublin dance festival DELVE17

A celebration of urban culture and street dance that brings together artists from Ireland and Europe

Join Hip-Hop innovator Tobi Omoteso and the Top 8 Team for Volume 3 of their hugely popular annual dance battle. Dancers from across Ireland and the world will showcase their best moves to represent themselves, their crew and their country in this epic dance event with live DJs KhanFu (UK) and Dmitri (Latvia).

Participants will compete in Breaking, Hip-Hop, Krump and Under16’s Allstyle battles. Dancers who wow the judges and the crowd will be chosen as this year’s Top 8 winners. The battle follows a day of workshops and competitive heats led by the Top 8 Team, who are passionate about bringing communities together through Hip-Hop culture.

Dublin Dance Festival popular FAST TRACK programme in collaboration with Live Collision is back for its fifth successive year. If you haven’t seen much dance but are curious to explore what it’s all about, then this is the perfect way to start.


On Saturday 27 May, let the Live Collision team immerse you in a jam-packed day of dance that will take you right to the heart of the 2017 Festival. Attend shows, meet Festival artists and engage in discussions about what you’ve seen in facilitated group sessions. Then you’ll meet back the next day for a debrief and a coffee, followed by a Sunday afternoon dance film screening. This is a great opportunity for anyone who’s keen to develop a critical eye and learn more about the artform. It’ll be fun and it’ll be FAST!
