About Cikada & the Masterclass

‘Cikada’ is taking place on Saturday 11th of May, at 2:30 pm at Selskar.

It is an intimate show that displays hand to hand partner acrobatics with two performers. The show uses Acrobatic-Theatre to display a mix between habits of humans and insects, highlighting the connectedness between humans and the rest of the natural world. Described as ‘hilarious and heartwarming’, the performers put a smile on faces and leaves audiences captivated. 30 minutes long, suitable for all ages. No booking is required.

The Masterclass will take place on Sunday the 12th at the National Opera House, at 10:30 am.

Starting in the morning, participants will be introduced to a broad movement vocabulary where they will explore a combination of partner acrobatics and movement technique.

Lunch will be provided on-site. If you have any dietary requirements, please email marketing@isacs.ie before Friday May 3rd.

The event is supported by Wexford County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland.
